If you normally take Queens Boulevard on your morning commute, then Friday morning was a disaster for you.
What was believed to be a massive water main break, although responders were still waiting on confirmation from the Department of Environmental Protection, shut down the entire roadway at the busy intersection of the boulevard and Broadway.
The issued seemed to be related to a nearby construction site. As of 10:30 a.m., the road was still closed to traffic.
