Christ the King High School is hosting a Community Blood Drive-Bone Marrow Registry on Saturday, December 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is in honor of 14-year-old Carly Nieves, of Middle Village, who has been living with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia since 2003. Her story is remarkable.
Carly and her family have channeled their desire to help others into organizing the blood drive, in partnership with the New York Blood Center. Every last drop counts. So head to Christ the King this weekend and give blood or join the bone marrow registry.
