According to an advisory by New York City Department of Environmental Protection, be advised that water regulators in Sunnyside and Ridgewood are being adjusted today to facilitate maintenance and repair of adjacent regulators. Possible discolored water could occur in the Sunnyside, Middle Village, Ridgewood, Maspeth or Forest Hills Areas. The highest likelihood being in Sunnyside. DEP’s Distribution and maintenance staff will be on site directing operations and will flush hydrants to minimize any discoloration.
