Amalgamated Bank is slated to open in November right on Grand Avenue.
Amalgamated is the only union owned bank in the country and is gradually opening branches around the city. Maspeth and Jackson Heights branches are currently under construction. After the two branches open, Amalgamated will have four branches in Queens alone.
