There will be maintenance on the Grand Street Bridge over Newtown Creek during August 2021. As a result, full nighttime bridge closures will be necessary between Sundays and Fridays from August 8 to August 27. Closures will occur between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. each night. This work replaces previously scheduled weekend daytime closures.
The bridge will be fully closed to traffic during work hours.
