Holden calls for indoor dining at 50 percent capacity

Maspeth Councilman Bob Holden wants New York City restaurants to be allowed to restart indoor dining at 50 percent.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that starting Valentine’s Day, restaurants can allow diners to eat indoors at 25 percent capacity. Holden said that’s not enough.

In a letter to the governor, Holden said he was disappointed by the decision.

“You hold the faith of thousands of business owners in your hand,” he wrote. “Please do right by them and decide based on the facts that you have right in front of you.”
