Martin Luther School congratulated Dano Tyrell (pictured here with his mom, Patricia, and Barbara & Ken Rudzewick) for being named the 2016 recipient of the Jill Rudzewick Memorial Award.
Dano, currently an 8th grader at St. Stanislaus School in Maspeth, will receive a partial scholarship to attend MLS in September.
The Jill Rudzewick Memorial Award was established in 2013 to celebrate Jill’s life, and the contribution of the entire Rudzewick family to Maspeth; especially to St. Stan’s and Martin Luther School.
Dano was chosen based on his high academic achievement, good school citizenship and service to the school and the community.
