Hundreds took to Grand Ave. on Sunday to honor the community’s veterans at the annual Maspeth Memorial Day parade.
WW2 vet William Aronowicz, who served as Grand Marshall of the parade, along fellow WW2 vet James Desio, said the experience was “wonderful”.
“Just wonderful,” he said. “It’s an honor I’ll always remember.”
