Maspeth sixth grader Gabrielle Fusco is scheduled to appear on the TV game show Jeopardy as part of Kids Week tonight.

The 11-year-old straight-A student began her assent to the national stage earlier this year when she received a perfect score on an online entry test, which brought her to a mock round in Manhattan where she stood out from the crowd as one of 15 national finalists to be chosen from thousands of applications.

In the episode that was taped in November, Fusco will compete against two other young contestants and has a chance to win up to $25,000.

The episode featuring Fusco will air at 7 p.m. on WABC-TV.

  1. I saw this episode, unfortunately this girls mother doesn\\\’t know how to teacher her daughter how to be a gracious loser. She complained that Alex explained the rules. Does everyone want a participation trophy?
