SLOW DOWN! New lowered city speed limit goes into effect today

Starting today, police will begin enforcing the new 25 mph citywide speed limit. Legislation passed last month lowered the default city speed limit from 30 mph to 25 mph. Attempted robbery at Maspeth Deli & Grill

On Monday morning at around 6 a.m. while Maspeth Grill & Deli clerk Raphael was opening for the day, a man in a mask attempted to rob the 7101 Grand Avenue store at gunpoint.
