Maspeth Deli robbed at gunpoint

Police are looking for two suspects who robbed the Maspeth Deli and Grocery last month.

Authorities say that on Saturday, January 28, at approximately 8:24 p.m., two men entered the grocery store at 59-66 56th Avenue.

The man in the video, wearing an orange knit hat, displayed a handgun and approached the 27-year-old male employee. The employee had a 9-year-old girl, his daughter, sitting on his lap.

The suspect ordered the employee and his daughter to get down on the floor while he removed money from the cash registers.

He also took a cigar box that had cash inside and handed it to the second suspect, who placed it inside his jacket.

In total, they fled the store with approximately $3,000 n cash.

  1. Maspeth Deli is just 2 blocks from the Holiday Inn Homeless shelter in Maspeth. I wonder if these perps are from the shelter….I hope the cops catch these creeps
