Vietnam Veterans Memorial opens on Friday

After decades of advocating, funding and construction, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Queens is finally here. On Friday, 10 a.m. at Elmhurst Park, at the corner of Grand Avenue and 79th Street, Borough President Melinda Katz will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
