A pair of would-be burglars peppered sprayed a woman and her nephew in Maspeth according to Det. Thomas Bell of the NYPD 104th precinct.
According to Bell, two Hispanic males attempted to steal a woman’s purse in the area of 51st Road. When the woman’s nephew came to her aid, both victims were pepper sprayed. The assailants did not manage to steal the woman’s purse. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
