On Saturday, October 17, join Council Member Elizabeth Crowley, the 104th and 108th Precincts, Maspeth Federal and civic group COMET for Community Recycling and Crime Prevention Day.

The event, which will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., will be held within Maspeth Federal’s parking lot at 69th Street and Grand Avenue.

There will be activities such as the ever-popular rain barrel giveaway, paper shredding and electronics recycling. You can recycle computers, TVs, laptops, printers, monitors, keyboards and more.

The NYPD will provide much needed services including a VIN Etch for your vehicle in order to prevent car theft. The Precincts will also register any of the bicycles, phones, iPads, tablets, X-boxes, etc., that you brought to the event.
