A popular Maspeth shopping center sold last Thursday for $56 million to White Plains, NY-based Acadia Realty Trust, according to city real estate records.
The purchase includes two parcels, located at 74-17 Grand Ave. and 53-01 74th St., which are together home to Stop & Shop, Party City, Mandee, Ridgewood Savings Bank, Sleepy’s, the Premier Care Walk-in Medical Center, Petland, the Arista Card Store and Sally Beauty Supply.
The property was last purchased by Boston-based AEW Capital Management in 2009 for $33.5 million according to City-Data.com.
