The American crime drama series Person of Interest is being filmed in Maspeth today, resulting in several parking and traffic interruptions around Maspeth.
As part of the shoot, film crews will be working on several locations, including the vicinities of 69-20 Grand Ave., 66-55 58th Ave., and at Hamilton Place between Perry and Grand avenues.
At the Grand Avenue location, a violent scene will be filmed, with one actor drawing a gun and another actor stabbing him/her with a needle and grabbing his/her throat. At the latter two filming sites, prop guns will be used, but no shots are to be fired.
