Three-artist exhibit to debut this weekend at Knockdown

A new exhibit will debut on Sat., September 6 at the Knockdown Center featuring large-scale works designed specifically for the space at 52-19 Flushing Ave. in Maspeth.

Curated by Regina Rex, the installation derives its name, “House, What is Your Crime?” from a Bernadette Mayer poem entitled, “House & Bernadette.” Artists Jeff Williams, Leeza Meksin and James Cordas will be featured, and each of their works will be aimed at highlighting the features of Knockdown’s spacial nuance.

The exhibit will be open every Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 6 through the 28 from 2 to 6 p.m. or by appointment.
