DEP to perform ‘emergency sewer repairs’ on 52 Court

Barring unforeseen conditions, the Department of Environmental Protection will be performing emergency sewer repair on 52nd Court between 73rd and 74th avenues for a five to seven day period starting Wed., June 11.

An announcement detailing the planned work was sent out to the press on Tues., June 10 at just after 4:30 p.m. Work on the project, which falls in CB5 territory, is scheduled from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

“We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to upgrade and maintain New York City’s infrastructure,” read the announcement. The nature of the emergency repair was not revealed.
