The annual Maspeth Bar Crawl was a smashing success this year, drawing hundreds and raising over $2,500 for the Wounded Warriors Project.

Co-organizer Jessica Sheets said that she and her colleagues Charlie Gotard, Brian Pope and Sean Debiase spent a lot of time being the scenes organizing the event, and were able to not only raise money for service members, but also to collect food for those in need.

“We had raffles such as a Brian Leetch autographed jersey, Ranger tickets and a 50/50. We also asked everyone to bring a canned good so that we could make this an extra cause and donate right before Thanksgiving. We had about 4 boxes full of canned goods,” Sheets said.
