The Lower East Side Ecology Center, in conjunction with Maspeth Federal Savings, is hosting an e-waste recycling event on Saturday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the parking lot.
Here are the following items they will accept, both working and non-working:
- Computers (laptops, desktops, servers, mainframes)
- Monitors (CRT and flatscreen)
- Network devices (routers, hubs, modems, etc.)
- Peripherals (keyboards, mice, cables, cords, chargers, etc.)
- Tablets and e-readers
- Components (hard drivers, CD-ROMs, circuit board, power supplies)
- Printers under 100 pounds, scanners, fax machines
- TVs, VCRs, DVRs, DVD and Blu-ray players
- Digital converter boxes, cable/satellite receivers
- Portable music players
- Audio-visual equipment
- Video games
- Cell phones, pagers, PDAs
- Telecommunication (phones, answering machines, etc.)
