Petro Home Services to sponsor Heroes Youth Basketball League 2018

home_petro_logo_294x98Petro Home Services and Heroes Youth Basketball League have teamed up to serve families in Maspeth, Middle Village, Glendale, Ridgewood, and the rest of Queens.

Petro Home Services, located at 55-60 58th Street in Maspeth, has been offering the community Heating Oil, Plumbing & Air Conditioning Services & Repairs in Queens for decades.

The Heroes Youth Basketball League is run on weeknights at Crowley, Juniper, and Frontera parks every spring / summer since 1990.

ai_whychoose1“Petro and Heroes have a very common goal; to provide a safe, comfortable environment for the families in our community,” said Rob Dibona, Regional Sales Manager of Petro in Maspeth.

“Heroes accomplishes this by orchestrating a fun, competitive basketball league which enables our youth to learn while having fun playing a sport they love. Petro accomplishes this by keeping your home utilities running effectively and efficiently, so that your family can enjoy moments, comfortably,” said Dibona.

Local businesses have been partnering up with the Heroes Basketball League because of its strong connection to the community. Families from St. Stan’s in Maspeth, Our Lady of Hope & St. Margaret’s in Middle Village, Sacred Heart & St. Pancras in Glendale, and many other CYO parishes from around Queens have been participating in Heroes since its inception. Many high school teams, such as Martin Luther, McClancy, and Molloy are involved too.

“Petro, Maspeth Federal, Arby’s on Metro, McClancy HS, and Martin Luther School are recent sponsoring partners of Heroes, and they have similar attributes in common… they truly care about the families that they serve,” said John Sanchez, Director of Heroes Basketball and Varsity Basketball Coach at Martin Luther School.

Families in Middle Village, Maspeth, Glendale, Ridgewood and surrounding Queens areas love Heroes because of its fun level of competition and extremely affordable pricing. There are boys and girls divisions for 17u, 14u, 12u, and 10u.

“The league is convenient and affordable for the families of our players,” said long-time CYO coach, Phil Favata.

Heroes’ coaches meeting will be held at Arby’s on Monday, April 24th at 7PM. Arby’s is providing free meals to all Heroes coaches. Call 718.426.7200 if you want to register a team in Heroes, or call 1.888.735.5651 if you want to schedule a free in-home estimate from Petro.
