A police officer was struck by a brick in Maspeth on Tuesday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
The cop from the 104th Precinct was taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Two suspects were arrested at the scene.
The incident occurred near 1 p.m. at 58-91 Maspeth Avenue, a two-story house under construction. According to reports, the officer was not the intended target.
Police were investigating at the scene. They closed off Maspeth Avenue and 59th Street from car traffic.
